Nö, muss nicht, ich sammle nur die passenden Links zum Thema bzw. der Frage von Locusta, die ja sicher auch Andere interessiert. Ich persönlich halte von UMTS eh (noch) nicht viel.

Habe gerade eben so ein Teil in Betrieb genommen. Funzt bis jetzt einwandfrei. Installation und Betrieb absolut Mac-like bis jetzt.

Von Leopard wird die Karte jetzt übrigens nativ unterstützt und es ist keine zusätzliche Treiber- oder Verbindungssoftware mehr nötig. Wird die Karte eingesteckt, erscheint auomatisch ein Menulett:
