Ja, dass der ClamXav Sentry fehlt, ist klar. Das passt zu den MAS-Regeln. Aber z.B. "Zoom in/out" und "Quellcode anzeigen"?

Toll. Ich hab's geahnt, dass es mit diesem MAS genau solchen Mist geben wird. Hatte jemand schon so ein Problem oder weiss, wie man es behebt? (XCode wurde durchaus mit dem Account herunter geladen, mit dem ich da eingeloggt bin. Sonst würde es in dem Account auch gar nicht unter den Purchases aufgeführt sein.  ::))

Ah, mögliche Lösung im Netz gefunden. Der MAS benötigt Spotlight ( >:(). Und das ist bei mir ausgeschaltet.

Ersteres: weil der MAS offenbar im Spotlight-Gedöns nachschaut, ob eine App installiert ist oder nicht. Er wüsste zwar, dass er sie geladen hat. Aber er schaut nicht bei sich nach, sondern im Spotlight-Gedöns. Aber wieso das so ist, weiss wohl nur Apple.

Und nachdem Spotlight seinen Index nun wieder aufgebaut hat, kann ich wirklich vermelden, dass dieser fehlende Index das Problem war. Nun installiert der MAS das Update anstandslos.

Grummel, zu immer mehr unzuverlässigen Apple-Technologien wird man praktisch gezwungen.  >:(

Nur um das klarzustellen: Die teureren Programme waren nie Appstore-only. Das bezieht sich nur auf einige Light-Versionen.

Ja, ich benutze Devon Think Pro als „sophisticated Zettelkasten“ und seit neuestem auch (noch selten) DevonSphere Express.
DevonAgent habe zwar, benutze es aber quasi nie.
Zu DT Pro kann ich nur sagen, dass es nicht so zugänglich ist wie andere derartige Programme. DT Express, welches übrigens gerne auch gebundelt wird, ist da Einsteiger-freundlicher. Pro nistet sich tief ein, man hat Skripts und Kontextmenüs und einen (ausblendbaren) Schuber und was weiß ich.
Erst nachdem ich sozusagen gegen mein erstes Gefühl eingestiegen bin, habe ich das Programm wirklich schätzen gelernt. Irgendwoher mussten die Lobpreisungen doch kommen… ja, es ist schon ein sehr guter Begleiter, aber ich denke nicht für Jeden.

Das neue Text Expander 4 ist aufgrund der Sandbox jetzt nicht mehr im Mac Appstore zu haben.

Vielleicht überlegen sich nach dem neuesten Bug immer mehr Entwickler zumindest eine Alternativversion bereitzustellen.

Man ist eben auf Gedeih und Verderb Apple ausgeliefert, wie sich hier recht drastisch zeigt. Kann mir lebhaft den Supportalptraum vorstellen.
