Über Updates lasse ich mich in der Regel durch die betreffende Software selbst informieren. Dieses Feature bietet heute ja fast jede Software. Ich nutze Download-Sites eher dann, wenn ich neue Software suche, aber nicht so genau weiss, was es für das jeweilige Bedürfnis so alles gibt.

So mache ich das auch (wie warlord), ganz interessant finde ich auch die Seite http://osx.iusethis.com/
Allerdings lädt die natürlich zu missbräuchlichem Voten geradezu ein.
